Every day new names are coming up for discussion regarding the potential contestants of Bigg Boss 17. It is now reported that actress Shivangi Joshi is also going to be a part of Bigg Boss 17. Shivangi Joshi is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi television. She starred opposite Trisha in 2013 with Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi.
Joshi’s other notable works include playing Ayat Haider in Beintehaa, Poonam Thakur in Begusarai, and Anandi Chaturvedi in Balika Vadhu 2. In 2022, she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and stood 12th. Joshi was born on 18 May 1998 in Pune, Maharashtra. He received his schooling in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Joshi made her television debut in 2013 with Zee TV’s Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. Next, she played the character of Ayat Haider in Beintehaa. In 2014, she appeared in ‘Love By Chance’ as Vishy. She later played the role of Poonam Thakur in Begusarai opposite Vishal Aditya Singh.
In 2016, she first appeared as Meera in season 4 of ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ and then as Jyoti in ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’. In the same year, she started playing the character of Naira Singhania Goenka in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Joshi quit the show in October 2021.
In 2020, she was supposed to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival with the film ‘Our Own Sky’, but due to the coronavirus, the film was later released on an OTT platform. In November 2021, it was announced that she would be making her debut in Colors TV’s Balika Vadhu 2 will be seen as Anandi Bhujaria.
She has also been featured in various music videos including Aateen with Mohsin Khan, Baarish and Teri Ada, Kismat Teri, Aashiqui, O Dilbar Yaara with Shaheer Sheikh, and Humnawa with Stebin Ben. In 2022, she appeared in the stunt-based reality TV show Participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, which was filmed in Cape Town and finished the 12th position.
In the UK-based newspaper Eastern Eye’s list of 50 Sexiest Asian Women, she was ranked 5th in 2018, while in 2019 she was ranked 7th. He was also ranked in Eastern Eye’s Top 30 Under 30 Global Asian Stars List of 2022.
